Google Earth Foto Update Juni 2009 – Wien

Google hat am Wochenende neue Bilder in Google Earth veröffentlicht. Das Update bringt leider mal wieder keine neue Bilder für Deutschland, aber Wien wurde aktualisiert.

Diese Liste stammt aus dem Google Earth Blog:
•Saudi Arabia – Makkah
•Afghanistan – large areas with medium resolution Spot Image
•France – Department of Gard, Normandy (Omaha Beach). Also: departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais. – Thanks ‘mortimer’; Also: Oise, Nièvre, Puy-de-Dôme, Finistère, Côtes-d’Armor Côte-d’Or, Gers, Dordogne, Lot, Corrèze, Creuse, Cher, Loir-et-Cher, Loiret, Orne, Maine-et-Loire, Corse-du-Sud, Haute-Corse, Haute-Loire
•India – Akola, Maharashta, Sirur, Chinchosi, Kon Goan, Utran, and other areas in the northwest.
•US – New colorization; Tampa, Florida
•Egypt – Gaza Pyramids . (Try to ignore the current ugly 3D models for the pyramids, they’ll be replaced I’m told). Also, western half of Egypt has medium resolution Spot Image.
•Canada – Surrey, BC Also: Québec / Bas-Saint-Laurent: Saint-Fabien and Mont-Joli and in Gaspésie: Métis-sur-Mer, Sainte-Flavie. Note: “BIG mistake fron GE team, the Rimouski region (Québec) is marked “Haute-Côte-Nord” (Upper North Coast)the Upper North Coast is located where the Saguenay River flows into it…”
•Thailand – Prachuap Khiri Khan province, along the boundary to Myanmar. Chiang Khong
•China – Hong Kong, Kowloon, Fuzhou
•Japan – Mount Fuji
•Iran – Spot Image
•Pakistan – Spot Image
•Austria – Vienna
•Italy – Venice, Pisa (reportedly very high resolution)
•Luxemborg – Southwestern part
•Spain – Northern part around Costa Brava
•Cambodia – Kampot & Kep
•Tajikistan – Eastern half

In den USA hat Google die Bilder nachbearbeitet und will sie nun so darstellen wie man sie von oben aus dem All sehen würde. Der Flickenteppich wurde teilweise entfernt. Während es in Indien und Australien eigentlich ganz gut ausschaut, ist es laut Gearthblog.com in den USA viel zu dunkel und zu grün. Auch sind einige Berge grün geworden obwohl sie nicht grün sind.
